A wonderful pattern! It is very easy to follow with the instructions provided. Even for someone who always sews plushes and never clothing/accessories, this pattern made it effortless for me. My boyfriend is big into historically accurate clothing/armor for his fencing hobby. I figured a perfect Christmas gift would be to make him one of these hats, as he’s wanted one for a while. I used a medium weight 100% wool and it looks so wonderful all finished! I can’t wait to gift it to him soon.
